XVII•OCTOBRE•MDCCCV / CAPITULATION / D'ULM•DE MEMMINGEN/ LX MILLE•PRISONNIERS Napoléon in imperial Roman attire driving biga to right, being crowned by Victory flying left, holding palm frond and wreath; below, figures of Ulm and Memmingen kneeling left, raising hands in supplication.
